Offers
On EXA Market, you can make offers on listed AND unlisted NFTs. To do so, you must reach out to the owner.
- On listed NFTs
Choose an NFT or a bundle of NFTs on the marketplace.
Click Make offer and enter the amount you would like to offer for this NFT.
Authenticate on your wallet to hold the amount and terminate the transaction.
π You have successfully submitted your offer to the owner! You can find the offers you made on your profile under Offers made.
The current owner will receive it and is free to approve (you will buy automatically the NFT) or decline (your funds will go back to your wallet).
- On unlisted NFTs
Select an unlisted NFT (either on a user profile under the collected tab or on a collection)
Click Make offer and enter the amount you would like to offer for this NFT.
Authenticate on your wallet to hold the amount and terminate the transaction.
π You have successfully submitted your offer to the owner! You can find the offers you made on your profile under Offers made.
The owner will receive it and is free to approve (you will buy automatically the NFT) or decline (your funds will go back to your wallet).
π‘Tips:
You can also chat with the owner directly using the chat.
If an agreement is reached, the seller can make an exclusive sale, which means that only you will be able to view the new listing on the marketplace mentioning the negotiated price (so that other users cannot buy it before you do).
β οΈ Note: When an offer is made on a listing and this listing is sold, the offer is not automatically cancelled, the offer continues to exist and is still valid, but it follows the listing NOT THE OWNER. Indeed, the offer is transferred to the new owner of the listing, whom is free to accept this offer even though it was made while he was not yet an owner. You always have the possibility to cancel this offer. You just have to go your offers made on your profile and click Cancel.
Fixed-price sales
On fixed-price sales, listings are sold for a fixed price specified by the seller. This sale can be made public (to the market) or private (to an exclusive user).
Select a listing.
Click Buy now.
Authenticate on your wallet to terminate the transaction.
π You have successfully purchased the listing! You can find your new NFTs on your profile under "Collected" and your new cryptocurrencies in the view of your wallet (just hover your profile picture at the top-right corner).
π‘Tips:
As for unlisted NFTs, you can also make offers on listed NFT. You just have to follow the same process as described above π.
Auction sales
On auctions, potential buyers bid in order to claim the assets in the listing: the highest bidder wins.
Select a listing and click Place bid.
Enter the amount you would like to bid, the minimum bid is established at 5% more than the last offer.
Then click Place bid and authenticate on your wallet to hold the amount and terminate the transaction.
π Your bid has been successfully submitted to the owner!
The owner will receive it. Then there are two user cases:
another user bids over you, you lose the auction, you will receive a notification and recover your funds automatically;
nobody bids over you, you win the auction, you will receive a notification and receive your assets.
